Introducing Fulton Chiropractor Dr. Patrick Nicholson

An adjustment? What the heck is that?
All I knew was my neck hurt and I had headaches. I knew my brother had a friend who was a chiropractor. I had tried everything else and nothing worked so I was ready to try anything. I decided to make my first appointment.
As I followed his care plan and recommendations, I felt the doctor did an excellent job of making my neck feel better. What I was astonished by was how much and how quickly my headaches began to disappear. That blew me away! To think a misaligned vertebra in my neck could make that much of a difference in my health. From that point on I knew what I wanted to do in life --help people achieve their optimal health through chiropractic care!
I am one of eleven children (all high academic achievers). My father was an attorney as were two siblings. The rest of the family was also schooled in traditional professions: nurse, pharmacist, physical therapist, police officer, 2 college administrators, financial planner, computer consultant, etc… I knew that going to school for something so “different” would draw some skepticism. Sometimes you just know what you were meant to do and makes your commitment even stronger. I was in my junior year at Nazareth College when I had my first chiropractic experience. I graduated from there in 1993 and headed to Chiropractic College (I was on a mission!!!). If I thought college was tough, I had no idea what waited for me in Chiropractic College! Classes were long, tough, and demanded your time and energy. I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1997.
With my family background and education I learned to subscribe to a very simple practice philosophy. Treat each patient as I would my family. Not only does this mean with clinical excellence, but also with the value and respect you would give a family member.
On my days off you can find me doing a number of things. I am avid runner and do so 5-6 days a week (usually around 4-6 miles) I love most sports but mainly basketball where I played right through college and still compete in local leagues. The thing I enjoy most is spending quality time with my wife Jennifer and our three beautiful children: Bailey, Seamus and Myra.
I consider myself and excellent listener and I hope I get the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your specific health challenge. Give our office a call, or email us using the link below to arrange a time to explore your options.
