Introducing The Chiropractor To See In Baldwinsville

Meet Dr. Nicole H. Cestaro

As I began to focus my attention during high school on my future and what I wanted to do, I realized very quickly that I wanted to work in the health field. I grew up with very strong, positive role models in my family. Both my mother and grandmother graduated from Crouse School of Nursing, and they modeled for me the importance of taking care of your body and seeking out help when it was needed.

After graduating high school, I continued my education at Binghamton University’s Decker School of Nursing. After two years of studying a field based on illness, I began to realize I was better suited for a field of healthcare based on wellness. I had been a chiropractic patient as well as shadowed several chiropractors during nursing school. I knew at this time that being a chiropractor was what I wanted to be. After graduating from Binghamton University in ’03, I attended New York Chiropractic College.

The next four years were some of the most exciting, stressful, difficult, and fulfilling of my life. I graduated with my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2006. Eight short months later, I got married to my husband, Jared. We have recently purchased a house in the Cicero area, and along with our newly adopted dog, Kona, we are looking forward to many years of health and happiness.

My chiropractic philosophy is one that I focused on very early in my career; treat the patient, not the symptoms. I want each of my patients to leave my office feeling like they received the personal attention and respect that they deserved. Patients will never be treated as a number in my office, and I pride myself on that.

During my free time away from the office, I enjoy working out (usually with my dog at my side), and spending quality time with my husband watching and attempting to play sports. Throughout our time together, I have grown to love, and cheer for, the Syracuse Orange!

I look forward to having an opportunity to meet you in person so that I can answer all of your healthcare questions/concerns. Give our office a call, or email me by clicking here to arrange a time to explore your options.

Dr. Nicholson Asks some important questions of interest to Fulton residents - Chiropractor Fulton Dr. Nicholson Asks...

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Fulton and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
